BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Board of Control meeting was held Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 11:30 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 11:30 AM. Director of Public Service John Highman and Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry were present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. Visitors present were Director Rollin Seward and Renee Biggums from the Department of Development The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 11/12/2020 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 157/2020 Enter into a contract amendment with the Canton Ex-Newsboys Association in order to increase the amount awarded in the original contract to assist with clothing for school-aged youth from $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 in CDBG funds. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced amendment. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. Adjournment: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Meeting adjourned: 11:31 AM
