SPECIAL BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Special Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 10:30 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry and Director of Public Service John Highman were present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 12/15/2020 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 159/2020 Enter into construction contract amendments with the following contractors in order to extend the time of final completion from December 1, 2020 to December 21, 2020 for the work and invoicing on various building improvement projects that are utilizing CRF funds, in order to be COVID compliant: ? Abbott Electric, Inc. ? Everhart Glass Co., Inc. ? Magic Garage Door, Inc. ? Ohio Desk ? Standard Plumbing & Heating Co. ? The K Company, Inc. ? Meggitt Training Systems, Inc. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced amendments. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 32/2019 Enter into Change Order No. 1 & Final with M.E. Simpson Co., Inc. for a cost reduction in the amount of $36,839.50 for the Water Valve Assessment and Exercising Program-Year Two (calendar year 2020), resulting in a new contract amount of $152,562.50. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 3. Ordinance 2/2020 Enter into Change Order No. 9 with Agile Network Builders, LLC dba Agile Networks to provide a dedicated 1Gb internet connection for the City. This is due to the increased installation of additional video feeds from safety cameras at Centennial Plaza, which will increase the monthly network fee from $9,291.00 to $10,541.00.
