BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 9:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 9:02 AM. Director of Public Service John Highman and Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry were present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 3/1/2022 - Minutes 1. Ordinances 223/2021 & 5/2022 Award and enter into contract with Architectural Roofing Contractors, Inc. in the amount of $89,590.00 for the Thurman Munson Stadium Partial Roof Replacement Project. Discussion: Mayor Bernabei asked which section of the roof would be replaced. Director Highman said that 2/3 of the roof was replaced last year which was the area along the 3rd base line. This project will replace the remaining 1/3 of the roof that has not been done yet. This is along the 1st base line and the middle roof area over the concession and office areas, which is underneath the seating section. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinances 124/2021 & 5/2022 Award and enter into contract with Wenger Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $4,785,300.90 for the Canton South Waterline Extension Project, Phases 2 and 3. Discussion: Per Director Highman, this project came in under the Engineer’s Estimate and will be paid for by funds provided by the State. Ordinances 124/2021 & 5/2022 Enter into a professional services agreement with Anser Advisory, LLC in the amount of $572,052.00 for the construction oversight services on the Canton South Waterline Extension Project, Phases 2 and 3. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. Adjournment: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Meeting adjourned: 9:05 AM
