SPECIAL BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes A Special Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 11:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry called the meeting to order at 11:03 AM. Director of Public Service John Highman was present. Board President, Mayor Bernabei was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 4/5/2022 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 69/2022 Enter into a Professional Service Agreement with Environmental Design Group in the amount of $49,837.00 for the design of the Cleveland Ave. NW Roadway Improvement Project (8th St. to 12th St.), Phase 2 GP1311. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Director Highman made a motion to approve the above referenced agreement. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 69/2022 Ordinance 69/2022 Enter into Change Order No. 1 with Prime AE Group, Inc. in the amount of $105,000.00 for the 15th St. SW Bridge Replacement Project, GP1298 in order to complete the remaining engineering & design for this project, resulting in a new contract amount of $229,500.00. Ordinance 7/2022 Ordinance 7/2022 Award and enter into a supply contract with Bonded Chemicals, Inc. for the purchase of Sodium Hypochlorite at a price of $1.79 per gallon for the Water Reclamation Facility.
