BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 9:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Director of Public Service John Highman was present. Director of Public Safety Andrea Perry was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was excused and Andy Roth substituted. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 11/29/2022 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 250/2022 Award and enter into contract with Fire Safety Services, Inc. in the amount of $155,620.00 for the purchase of fire hose for the Fire Department. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 69/2022 Award and enter into a construction contract with Wenger Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $408,583.92 for the Hursh Pl. NW Widening Project, GP1377. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.  Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. ____________________________________________________________________ 3. Ordinance 7/2022 Enter into a one (1) year contract with the Schauer Group, Inc. in the amount of $409,499.00 for property insurance for City owned buildings. Discussion: Discussion took place concerning the rate and total premium. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded.
