BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Director of Public Service, John Highman and Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry were present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 5/2/2023 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 69/2022 Enter into Change Order No. 1 with Haralson Roofing, LLC in the amount of $998.40 for the Fire Station #4 Roof Replacement Project due to the replacement of 256 sq. ft. of wood decking, resulting in a new contract amount of $50,398.40. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 69/2022 Award and enter into a construction contract with Wenger Excavating, Inc.in the amount of $293,665.80 for the Burnham Hills Sanitary Sewer Realignment Project, GP1220 for the Engineering Department. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced contract.
