BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Bernabei called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM. Director of Public Service, John Highman and Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry were present. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 10/17/2023 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 53/2023 Enter into Change Order No. 1 with Wenger Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $114,771.40 for the 34th St. Area Water Main Replacement Project, in order to extend the paving limits from Shanabruck Ave. to Frazer Ave., resulting in a new contract amount of $2,608,221.10. Discussion: Director Highman clarified that this change order is authorized via Ordinance 135/2023. Ordinance 53/2023 provides the original approval for the project. Motion: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. Adjournment: Mayor Bernabei made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Meeting adjourned: 9:02 AM Director Perry seconded.
