SPECIAL BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Special Board of Control meeting was held Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Sherer called the meeting to order at 11:08 AM. Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry was present. Director of Public Service, John Highman was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 6/3/2024 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 81/2023 Enter into Change Order No. 1 with Wenger Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $6,850.00 for the 4th St. SE Sanitary Sewer Improvements Project, GP1338, due to the need for the addition of a manhole, resulting in a new contract amount of $3,911,460.70. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.
