BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 8:30 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Sherer called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM. Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry was present. Director of Public Service, John Highman was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 11/12/2024 - Minutes 1. Ordinances 157/2023 & 4/2024 Award and enter into a construction contract with CPS Construction Group, Inc. in the amount of $600,000.00, utilizing ARPA funds, for the City Hall Parking Garage Repair Project. This amount includes the alternate bid option for limited work hours. Work will be done on 2nd and 3rd shifts only. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 3/2024 Enter into a two-year professional services contract with Superior Dental Care, Inc. for the new dental coverage for City employees. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Perry seconded.  Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 3. Ordinance 3/2024 Enter into a three-year professional services contract with Bravo Wellness, LLC for a wellness program which focuses on reducing preventable costs and risks and increasing preventative care for City employees. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Perry seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.
