SPECIAL BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Special Board of Control meeting was held Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 3:00 PM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Sherer called the meeting to order at 3:05 PM. Director of Public Service, John Highman was present. Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 12/4/2024 - Minutes 1. Ordinances 50/2023 & 4/2024 Award and enter into a construction contract with Cavanaugh Building Corporation in the amount of $788,000.00, utilizing ARPA funds, for the Fire Station 7 Renovation Project. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried.
