BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at 8:30 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Sherer called the meeting to order at 8:35 AM. Director of Public Service, John Highman was present. Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry was excused. Board Secretary Katie Wise was also present. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 8/12/2025 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 235/2024 Award and enter into a construction contract with Lockhart Concrete Co. in the amount of $1,271,552.70 for the 15th St. NW Streetscape Project, Phase 1, GP 1438, pending Income Tax approval. Discussion: Katie Wise stated that Income Tax approval was received on August 11th. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced contract. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 73/2025 Enter into a professional services agreement with Anser Advisory Management, LLC in the amount of $1,241,096.00 for the construction oversight of the Cromer Reservoir Demolition and Replacement Project. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced agreement. Director Highman seconded.  Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced agreement. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 3. Ordinance TBD Ordinance 151/2025 Enter into Change Order No. 1 with Wenger Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $114,573.04 for the Perry Heights Watermain Replacement-Phase 2 due to adjusted pavement plan quantities, resulting in a new contract amount of $2,528,973.79. Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced change order. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. Adjournment: Mayor Sherer made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 2 yeas 0 nays Meeting adjourned: 8:38 AM
