BOARD OF CONTROL Meeting Minutes The Board of Control meeting was held Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 8:30 AM in the Mayor’s Conference Room. Board President, Mayor Sherer called the meeting to order at 8:30 AM. Director of Public Service, John Highman and Director of Public Safety, Andrea Perry were present. Andy Roth filled in for Board Secretary Katie Wise. There were no visitors present. The following items were for review/approval by the Board of Control: 10/21/2025 - Minutes 1. Ordinance 66/2025 Amend contract expenditure deadline to December 31,2025. Originally approved on April 8, 2025 for the 2025 Summer Youth Program grant funding for Summer Camps and Learning Programs: 2025 Summer Youth Programming Agency Project Grant Awarded Tiqvah Hands of Hope Summer Camp $40,000.00 Discussion: No discussion. Motion: Mayor Sherer made a motion to approve the above referenced deadline extension. Director Highman seconded. Vote: 3 yeas 0 nays Motion carried. 2. Ordinance 56/2025 Enter into Change Order No. 1 with Tri-Mor Corporation in the net amount of $77,300.00 for the Cleveland Ave. SW Reconstruction, Phase 2 GP 1476 Project, for extra work added to the project including reconstruction of a failed catch basin, concrete roadway replacement, and changes made at the direction of the engineer to a raised median, resulting in a new contract amount of $895,018.00.
