No Public Comments 6) NEW BUSINESS: æˉ Draft Green Policy – Deputy City Manager Rhonda Ender Draft version of the Green Policy was presented and Board asked questions! about the definitions and discussed ways to garner public support. Ωˉ Draft Revised Landscape Code – Deputy City Manager Rhonda Ender and! CED Manager Beth Offeman Board discussed draft Landscape Code and the pros and cons of Landscaping! Plans and COO landscaping requirements for single-family homes. º ˉ Draft Revised Design Standards – Deputy City Manager Rhonda Ender and! CED Manager Beth Offeman Board reviewed and discussed proposed changes to Design Standards and 3 supported the Draft updates by Makers, City Staff and Land Use Committee 7) OLD BUSINESS a) River’s Edge Park Next phase of construction (“Pavilion”) currently in design and bidding stage; play equipment due to arrive in coming weeks. b) Triangle Activation Landscaping contract signed and work set to begin end of September. c) Tree Ordinance On 8/5/24 City Council Agenda 8) FUTURE AGENDAS: a) Regular Meeting: August 27, 2024 b) Board Member Enciso requested the Board prioritize Valley Memorial Park and look at the possibility of adding a more robust pump track/biking area and enhanced skate park. He would like to see expanded activities for teens. Deputy City Manager Ender shared that the City is a finalist for a grant for new LED lights at Valley Memorial, as well as refinished pickleball courts and signage.
