PURPOSE: The purpose for this meeting is to set a public hearing for a Street Closing Permit Application submitted by Hairy Pony Racing Association for the temporary closing and usage of streets from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 3rd, 2016 to accommodate the Not So Normal Run Festival, which includes a half marathon race and a full marathon race. PURPOSE: The purpose of this item is for the Board to determine whether to direct staff to prepare an ordinance in response to a request to amend the Land Use Ordinance to establish a new community kitchen use classification as a permissible use in the certain business districts. Adoption of a plan on a five-year update cycle is required in order for the Town to maintain its eligibility for hazard mitigation grant funds.
