HPLUL-5403(017)]: WILMINGTON AVENUE INTERCHANGE MODIFICATION AT THE I-405 FREEWAY Recommendation: TAKE the following actions: 1. APPROVE the Sixth Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with Parsons Transportation Group, Inc., to reflect an increase in the scope of work for a negotiated fee not-to-exceed $165,309.12. 2. Item No. 1. 2015-182 CONSIDER INCREASING THE LEVEL OF SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT TO ENHANCE SECURITY AT SOUTH BAY PAVILION AND APPROVE AN AGREEMENT WITH VINTAGE REAL ESTATE, LLC TO SHARE THE COST OF THE ADDITIONAL DEPUTIES Recommendation: TAKE the following actions: 1. REVISE the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department SH-AD 575 Deployment of Personnel form to increase deployment to the City by two Deputies. 2. AUTHORIZE the City Attorney to negotiate an agreement between the City of Carson and Vintage Real Estate, LLC to equally share the cost of providing additional Sheriff's personnel at South Bay Pavilion, with execution of said agreement subject to subsequent approval by the City Council. 3. APPROPRIATE $19,896.30 from the unassigned general fund balance to account number 01-90-905-130-6005.
