PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING April 13, 2016, 7:00 PM 13133 E. ARAPAHOE ROAD MINUTES 1. CALL TO ORDER Chair Suhaka called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM. 2. ROLL CALL Those present were: Chair Suhaka Commissioner Bailey Commissioner Baird Commissioner Cohen Commissioner Halcromb Commissioner Hart Commissioner Sims Commissioner Sutherland Commissioner Urtz Those absent were: None Also present were: Derek Holcomb, Planning and Engineering Manager Jill Hassman, Assistant City Attorney Michael Gradis, Planner II Alex Grimsman, Planner I Jennifer Wood, Recording Secretary a. Alternate Selection for Voting Purposes 3. CONSENT AGENDA Commissioner Sutherland moved approval of the CONSENT AGENDA. Commissioner Sims seconded the motion. With Commissioners Bailey, Cohen, Hart, Sims, Sutherland, and Chair Suhaka voting AYE, and Commissioner Baird voting NAY; the motion was approved by a vote of six (6) AYE and one (1) NAY. a. Consideration of Resolutions i. Resolution No. 2016-PZ-R-08 The Kitchen Showcase Site Plan First Amendment Ratification (Case No. LU-16-00014) Minutes – Planning and Zoning Commission April 13, 2016 Page 2 ii. Resolution No. 2016-PZ-R-10 Happy Canyon Trail Site Plan Ratification (Case No. LU-16-00013) iii. Resolution No. 2016-PZ-R-09 Caliber Collision Site Plan Ratification (Case No. LU-16-00002) b. Consideration of Other Items Chair Suhaka and Commissioner Baird requested that the ratification staff reports include the criteria for approval. c. Approval of Minutes i. March 9, 2016, Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes 4. LAND USE APPLICATIONS/PUBLIC HEARINGS 5. UPDATES Derek Holcomb, Planning and Engineering Manager, presented the updates. Commissioner Cohen gave a brief overview of the highlights from her recent attendance at the 2016 APA National Planning Conference. 6. LONG RANGE AGENDA 7.
