PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING May 10, 2017, 6:00 PM 13133 E. ARAPAHOE ROAD MINUTES 1. CALL TO ORDER Chair Sutherland called the meeting to order at 6:04 PM. 2. ROLL CALL Those present were: Chair Sutherland Commissioner Beatty Commissioner Cohen Commissioner Griffis Commissioner Hart Commissioner Larimer Commissioner Suhaka Commissioner Urtz, arrived at 6:13 PM Those absent were: Commissioner Sims, excused Also present were: Christopher Price, Assistant City Attorney Derek Holcomb, Deputy Director of Community Development Jennifer Wood, Recording Secretary a. New Commissioners take the Oath of Office Christopher Price, Assistant City Attorney, administered the oath of office to Commissioners Larimer and Suhaka. b. Alternate Selection for Voting Purposes Commissioners Beatty and Larimer were appointed voting members in the absence of Commissioners Sims and Urtz. 3. CONSENT AGENDA Commissioner Hart moved approval of the CONSENT AGENDA. Commissioner Suhaka seconded the motion. With Commissioners Beatty, Cohen, Griffis, Hart, Larimer, Suhaka, and Chair Sutherland, voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; the motion was approved by a vote of seven (7) AYE and none (0) NAY. a. Consideration of Resolutions Minutes – Planning and Zoning Commission May 10, 2017 Page 2 i. Resolution No. 2017-PZ-R-08, Briarwood-Kenton Self-Storage Site Plan Ratification (Case No. LU-16-00064) ii. Resolution No. 2017-PZ-R-09, Colorado Public Defender Site Plan Ratification (Case No. LU-16-00306) iii. Resolution No. 2017-PZ-R-10, St. Thomas More 7th Amendment Site Plan Ratification (Case No. LU-17-00037) b. Consideration of Other Items c. Approval of Minutes 4. LAND USE APPLICATIONS/PUBLIC HEARINGS 5. UPDATES Derek Holcomb, Deputy Director of Community Development, announced that Commissioner Griffis was appointed from the position of alternate member to a regular voting member of the Planning and Zoning Commission. 6.
