MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Regular City Council Meeting 7:00 PM Monday, November 4, 2024 A Regular Meeting of the City Council was held on this date in the Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. 1 Call to Order Mayor Piko called the meeting to order at 7:15 PM. 2 Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Piko Council Member Tharp Council Member Carnes Council Member Sweetland Council Member Maurer Council Member Sutherland Council Member Holt Council Member Alston Council Member Sheehan Those absent were: None Also present were: Matthew Sturgeon, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Eric Eddy, Assistant City Manager Jenifer Madsen, Senior Assistant City Attorney Anna Leonard, Engineering Manager Christina Lovelace, City Clerk 3 Pledge of Allegiance Mayor Piko led the Pledge of Allegiance 4 Public Comment (None) 5 Executive Session Minutes – Regular City Council Meeting 11/4/2024 7:00:00 PM Page 2 a Pursuant to CRS Section 24-6-402(4)(e) for the purpose of devising negotiation strategy and instructing negotiators concerning an amendment of a legal services agreement. Council Member Maurer moved to Approve ORDINANCE NO. 2024-O-16, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTENNIAL, COLORADO, REPEALING AND REPLACING ARTICLE 1 OF CHAPTER 8 OF THE CENTENNIAL MUNICIPAL CODE AND ADOPTING A NEW ARTICLE 1 OF CHAPTER 8 OF THE CENTENNIAL MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED MODEL TRAFFIC CODE CONCERNING THE ADOPTION OF THE 2024 EDITION OF THE MODEL TRAFFIC CODE AND ADOPTING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE SAME. Council Member Carnes seconded the motion.
