MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Special Meeting 6:00 PM Monday, April 20, 2015 A Special Meeting of the City Council was held on this date in the Community Room at 7272 E. Eagle Street, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. 1. Call to Order Mayor Noon called the meeting to order at 6:15 PM. 2. Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Noon Council Member Turley Council Member Gardner Council Member Moon Council Member Piko Council Member Lucas Council Member Truhlar Council Member Gotto Council Member Whelan Those absent were: None Also present were: John Danielson, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Dawn Priday, Director of Finance Wayne Reed, Deputy City Manager Elisha Thomas, Assistant City Manager Eric Eddy, Assistant to the City Manager Sheri Chadwick, Director of Communications Allison Wittern, Public Information Manager Paula Gibson, Director of Human Resources Linda Gregory, Deputy Director of Finance Lisa Bigelow, Budget Analyst Jeff Cadiz, Revenue Manager Kimber Liss, Court Administrator Liz Dunaway, Purchasing Manager Jon Whitting, Management Analyst Marianne Shilling, Management Analyst Daniel Hutton, Management Analyst Daniel Krzyzanowski, Principal Planner Travis Greiman, Engineering Manager Louie Perra, Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Glenn Thompson, Arapahoe county Sheriff’s Office Ebony Brewington, Deputy City Clerk Barbara Setterlind, City Clerk Minutes – Special Meeting April 20, 2015 Page 2 3. Budget Workshop John Danielson, City Manager, made a brief introduction. Dawn Priday, Director of Finance, discussed 2014 year in review and the 2015 revenue and expenditure report. Mr. Danielson presented the 2016 decision packages:  Citizens Survey: Consensus to go forward with the survey early 2016.  February 2016 – 15 Year Anniversary Celebration: Consensus to go forward as presented.  Personal Body Cameras for Law Enforcement: Consensus as a placeholder in the Budget. Directed Staff to bring back for further discussion at a future Study Session.  Request for Two Additional Communication Staff Members: Consensus to go forward in 2015.  Request for an Additional GIS Staff Member: Consensus to go forward in 2015.  Request for an Additional IT Staff Member (DBA): Consensus to bring back for further discussion at a future Study Session.  Comprehensive Plan: Consensus to go forward starting mid-2016.  Comprehensive IT Systems Review: Consensus to bring back for further discussion at a future Study Session.  Economic Development Consultants: Consensus to go forward as presented.  Compensation Retirement Program / Pay for Performance Program: Consensus to go forward as presented.  Civic Center Remodel: Consensus to bring back for further discussion. 4.
