MINUTES OF THE CENTENNIAL CITY COUNCIL Study Session 6:00 PM Monday, May 18, 2015 A Study Session of the City Council was held on this date in the City Council Chambers at 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial, Colorado. A full and timely notice of this meeting had been posted and a quorum was present. AGENDA A. Call to Order Mayor Noon called the meeting to order at 6:02 PM. B. Roll Call Those present were: Mayor Noon Council Member Turley Council Member Gardner Council Member Moon Council Member Piko Council Member Lucas Council Member Truhlar Council Member Gotto Council Member Whelan Those absent were: None Also present were: John Danielson, City Manager Bob Widner, City Attorney Wayne Reed, Deputy City Manager Elisha Thomas, Assistant City Manager Eric Eddy, Assistant to the City Manager Allison Wittern, Public Information Manager Daniel Hutton, Senior Management Analyst Dave Zelenok, Chief Innovations Officer Barbara Setterlind, City Clerk C. Scheduled Presentations • Update from the Youth Commission Claire Girardeau, Youth Commissioner, gave a brief update. D. Executive Session Pursuant to C.R.S. Section 24-6-402(4)(b) and (e) to Obtain Legal Advice and Devise Negotiation Strategy Concerning Participation in a Public Utilities Commission Matter Affecting Rates Paid for Public Street Lighting Minutes – Study Session May 11, 2015 Page 2 Council Member Lucas moved to go into Executive Session Pursuant to Section 24-6-402(4)(b) and (e) to Obtain Legal Advice and Devise Negotiation Strategy Concerning Participation in a Public Utilities Commission Matter Affecting Rates Paid for Public Street Lighting. Council Member Gotto seconded the motion. With Mayor Noon, Council Member Turley, Council Member Gardner, Council Member Moon, Council Member Piko, Council Member Lucas, Council Member Truhlar, Council Member Gotto, Council Member Whelan voting AYE, and (None) voting NAY; Absent: 0. THE MOTION Passed. E. Fiber Optic Services Report Recommendations Council Member Whelan, Piko and Lucas presented. Dave Zelenok, Chief Innovation Officer, answered questions from Council. F.
