Meeting Opening 1.1 Call to Order Chairperson Kirsten Chiaro called the Committee of the Whole meeting to order at 6:22 p.m. 1.2 Roll Call Present: Village Trustee Kristen Chiaro; Village Trustee Meredith Ferguson; Village Trustee John Fletcher; Village Trustee Tim Nice; Village Trustee Carl Try and Village President Dave Kimsey. Absent: Village Trustee Brett Gerger. Others Present: Village Manager Pat McCarthy; Village Attorney Lisa Petrilli; Police Chief Vern Foli; General Foremen Dustin Patterson; Village Engineer Jim Michael and Village Clerk Dan Holden 2. Consent Agenda 2.1 Approve Minutes of Previous Committee of the Whole 5-13-2025 A motion was made by Trustee Nice to bring the Consent Agenda to the table for discussion. This motion was seconded by Trustee Ferguson. By an affirmative voice vote of the members present, the motion passed, and the Consent Agenda was approved. 3. Old Business There was no Old Business discussed at this meeting 4. New Business 4.1 Discussion on a proposed agreement to make significant improvements to Bob Erickson Baseball Field at Chatham Community Park. Ryan Murphy addressed the Village Board regarding plans to make significant improvements to Bob Erickson Field using private money raised through a fundraising campaign. It would be a three phase project with the first phase starting this late summer, early fall. Mr. Murphy was there to present the project information and get a sense of the Trustees’ perception of the effort and to see if the committee raising private funds can proceed. There would need to be approval from the Village as the private funded improvements would be on Village owned park land. 4.2 CMT Engineering Updates The Village Engineering updates occurred during the Public Comment section of the Regular Village Board meeting. See minutes from the June 10 Regular Village Board meeting. 4.3 Village Manager Update The Village Manager Updates occurred during the Public Comment section of the Regular Village Board meeting. See minutes from the June 10 Regular Village Board meeting. 4.4 Public Property & Recreation Committee update There was no Public Property & Recreation Committee meeting since the last Committee of the Whole meeting therefore there was no new update. 4.5 Public Comments Village Business There were no Public Comments regarding Village Business at this meeting. Adjournment 7.1 A motion was made by Trustee Nice to adjourn the Committee of the Whole Meeting. This motion was seconded by Trustee Fletcher.
