MINUTES CITY OF CHEROKEE VILLAGE, ARKANSAS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING 6: 30 P. M., TUESDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2020 CHEROKEE VILLAGE CITY HALL meetings are video recorded) Mayor Stokes called the special meeting of the City Council to order at 6: 35 p. m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020. Roll was called by Clerk Deb Weichinger. Present were Council Members, Chuck Kristopeit, Les Covington, Carr Hill, Thomas Rupard, Steve Thompson, Mayor Stokes. Pamela Rowland, present via Zoom. Absent: Jerry Adams, Rob Smith and City Attorney Jon Abele. Mayor opened the meeting presenting the proposed 2021 budget, referenced the attached December 2, 2020 memo from the budget committee to the council members, and opened the floor for discussion. After discussion, motion was made by Council Member Thompson, second by Council Member Covington, to approve the budget. Roll call vote to pass the 2021 Budget passed unanimously. This will be Resolution 2020 -14: A Resolution to adopt the 2021 Annual Operating Budget for the City of Cherokee Village.
