MINUTES CITY OF CHEROKEE VILLAGE, ARKANSAS SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING 6: 30 P. M., THURSDAY, AUGUST 26, 2021 CHEROKEE VILLAGE CITY HALL meetings are video recorded) Present were Jerry Adams, Chuck Kristopeit, Rob Smith, Steve Thompson, Mayor Stokes, and city attorney Jon Abele. Present: Pamela Rowland and Attorney Stone ( by phone). Absent: Carr Hill, Eddie Ishmael and Tom Rupard. After much discussion and comments from Attorney Stone and Peter Martin, Council Member Rob Smith made a motion to consider the vote regarding the settlement proposal, second by Council Member Chuck Kristopeit. Voting Nay was to not take the settlement, voting Aye was to take the settlement. Roll call vote: Nay votes: Council Members Adams, Kristopeit, Rowland, and Thompson. Aye votes: Council Member Smith. Motion failed to accept the settlement proposal. ADJOURNMENT: Council Member Adams moved to adjourn the meeting at 8: 26 p. m., second by Council Member Kristopeit and meeting was adjourned.
