CHICOPEE CITY COUNCIL HUMAN RESOURCE C OMMITTEE APPROVED 12-6-2016 MEMBERS James Tillotson Gary Labrie Stan Walczak Timothy McLellan William Zaskey MINUTES November 29, 2016 The following are the minutes of a public hearing held Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Fourth Floor, City Hall Annex, 274 Front Street, 4th floor, Chicopee, MA 01013 Present: Tillotson, Labrie, McLellan (arrived 6:04), Walczak, Zaskey Also Present: Daniel Garvey (Associate City Solicitor), Councilor Laflamme, Councilor Krampits, Councilor Roy Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM In compliance with the Open Meeting Law the Chairman asked if anyone in the audience was recording the meeting. Hearing none the meeting continued. ITEM #1 Mayoral appointment of Courtney Supple, as a member of the Planning Board to serve in such office for the term expiring on the 1st of April, 2021. Motion to approve – motion passed Committee vote 5 – 0 favorable. ITEM #2 Mayoral appointment of Courtney Supple, as a member of the Council on Aging to serve in such office for the term of three years expiring on the 3rd day of June, 2019. Committee vote 5 – 0 favorable ITEM #3 Mayoral appointment of Melissa St. Germain as a member of the Planning Board to serve in such office for the term expiring on the 1st of April, 2021. Ms. St. Germain was not present. Motion to postpone– motion approved 1 ITEM #4 Minutes – August 24, 2016 – Councilor McLellan motion to approve – Councilor Tillotson 2nd the motion – motion passed Meeting adjourned at 6:17 PM. 2
