TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
September 4, 2012
At 7:00 PM
Call To Order: President Brett Foster called the meeting to order and Dennis Schrumpf gave the
prayer. President Foster called for the roll call and the members of the Town Council were
present or absent as follows:

Declared a quorum present.
Others Present: Jan Unger, Clerk Treasurer
Charlie Cambre, Park Superintendent
Pat Comer, Street & Utilities Director
Dave Hildebrand, Police Chief
Steve Peachey, Fire Chief
Aaron Culp, Town Attorney
Approval of Prior Minutes:
Town Council Meeting Minutes, August 21, 2012, 7:00 PM – Ms. Hartley made a
motion to approve the Town Council Meeting Minutes of August 21, 2012. Mr. Cook
seconded, motion passed.
Approval of Agenda:
Mr. Cook made a motion to approve the Agenda as amended. Mr. Hayden seconded,
motion passed.
Approval of Claims:
Mr. Cook made a motion to approve the Claims as presented. Ms. Hartley seconded,
motion passed.
Petitions by Citizens:
There were none.
President’s Report:
HCLA - County & Municipal Government Day, is one of the town council members
interested in with the HCLA class on September 20th? They would love to have a
smaller community represented. Dennis Schrumpf volunteered to represent the Town of
Cicero.
Council Committee Reports:
There were none
Legal Counsel Report-John Culp:
Mr. Culp stated that he had nothing.

Cicero/Jackson Township Plan Commission Report-Paul Munoz
Mr. Munoz inquired of Mr. Culp if he had contacted the owners of the cell tower
regarding their request to run utility lines? Mr. Culp stated that he would be doing that
this week. Mr. Munoz informed the Council that he has had a request from the owner to
run these utility lines and we need more information. Ms. Unger reminded everyone that
the wells for the Town are in that area and Mr. Comer should be consulted.
Mr. Munoz also informed the Council that the survey for the Comprehensive Plan was on
line and ready for citizens to complete. Mr. Munoz already stated that they have 50
responses.
Town Engineer Report-Mr. Keith Bryant –
Mr. Bryant was not available but sent in a written report. See attached.
There was a discussion regarding the Task Order for the engineering for the construction
portion of the Stringtown Pike/Baseball Park Path. The proposed cost is not to exceed
$20,000. Mr. Hayden made a motion to approve the Task Order. Mr. Schrumpf
seconded, motion passed.

There was none.
Miscellaneous
Mr. Cambre informed the Council that he had 98 cars at the Rod Run on the 3rd in spite
of the weather. There were approximately 300 attendees. He was very pleased.
Mr. Munoz stated that he would be attending the Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA) Region V, Flood Insurance Study regarding the Flood Insurance Rate
Maps for the County on September 5th at the Hamilton County Government Center.

Motion To Adjourn:
Ms. Hartley made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Schrumpf seconded. There was a discussion
as to whether everything has been discussed. Mr. Foster called for a motion, motion
passed.
