TOWN OF CICERO TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES TUESDAY, DECEMBER 28, 2022 at 9:30 AM Call to Order: Vice President Blueher called the meeting to order. VP Blueher called for roll call. Members of the Cicero Town Council were present or absent as follows: Present: Chad Blueher Absent: Chad Amos Jerry Cook Chris Lutz Dan Strong Declare a Quorum Present: VP Blueher declared a quorum with four members present. Others Present: Rhonda Gary, Clerk Treasurer Approval of Agenda: Mr. Cook made a motion to approve the agenda as amended. Mr. Strong seconded, motion carried. Approval of Prior Minutes: Town Council Staff Meeting Minutes, December 15, 2022, 7:00 PM Town Council Meeting Minutes, December 20, 2022, 7:00 PM Mr. Cook made a motion to approve the minutes listed above. Mr. Strong seconded, motion carried. Approval of 12/28/22 Claims: Mr. Strong made a motion to approve the claims dated 12/28/22 as presented. Mr. Cook seconded, motion passed. Old Business: 1. Ordinance 12-06-2022-2 Garbage Collection Fees – Public Hearing & Adoption – Mr. Cook made a motion to open the public hearing. Mr. Lutz seconded, motion carried. There were no comments from the public. Mr. Cook made a motion to close the public hearing. Mr. Lutz seconded, motion carried. Mr. Lutz made a motion to adopt Ordinance 12-06-2022-2 Garbage Collection Fees. Mr. Strong seconded, motion carried. Mr. Lutz made a motion to accept the contract with Republic Services and to allow Mr. Culp to finalize the details. Mr. Strong seconded, motion carried. New Business: 1. Town Hall Building – Discussion about moving the meetings back to town hall. The conversation centered around ADA compliance. Mr. Blueher was in favor of moving the meetings back to town hall. Mr. Strong added that the project is included in the 2012 Transition Plan. After a brief discussion, VP Blueher decided to reach out to Mr. Culp and Mr. Bryant for discussion. Mr. Lutz would like to get going on that project sooner rather than later. 1 Motion to Adjourn: Mr. Cook made the motion. Mr. Strong seconded, motion carried. Signatures on Official Documents!
