Clarinda City Council Minutes Wednesday, March 27, 2024 Clarinda City Hall – 4:30 p.m. The Clarinda City Council met at City Hall on March 27, 2024, at 4:30 p.m. Mayor Craig Hill presided over the meeting with the following Council Members present: Mike Allbaugh, Austin Ascherl, Todd Reed, and James Shore. Absent: Kaley Neal Mayor opens meeting Pledge of Allegiance Adopt Agenda Motion by Ascherl to Adopt the Agenda. Seconded by Reed. Vote was unanimous. Public Hearing Concerning a Tax Statement Showing the Proposed Tax Levis for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget Mayor Hill opened the Public Hearing at 4:30 p.m. Manager McClarnon stated as required by law the public hearing notice was published in the paper. There were no oral or written comments. The Tax Levy for fiscal ’25 was increased from $16.75 per thousand up to $18.00 per thousand dollars valuation. Mayor Hill closed the public hearing at 4:35 p.m. There were no oral or written comments. Adjourn Motion by Ascherl to adjourn the meeting at 4:36 p.m. Seconded by Allbaugh. Vote was unanimous.
