MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF CLEVELAND BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2017 AT 12:00 PM CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL BUILDING 190 CHURCH STREET NE The regular meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals was called to order by Charlotte Peak, Chairman, at 12:00 P.M. Members present included Charlotte Peak, Clint Taylor, Dan Moore, Ed Brown, and Ray Garner. There were no members absent. Legal Counsel present included John Kimball, Attorney for the City of Cleveland. Staff present included Corey Divel, Senior Planner, Darla Jenkins, Executive Secretary, Tom Rowland, Mayor, and Melinda Carroll, Assistant City Manager/Operations. Others present included Larry Bowers of The Cleveland Daily Banner and Dee Burris. The minutes of the August 8, 2017 meeting were presented for approval. Dan Moore made a motion to approve and Clint Taylor seconded the motion. A vote of 5-0 passed the motion. There was no Public Hearings. There was no Old Business. In New Business, a. Request by Clarke Taylor for a setback variance on property located at 3105 North Ocoee St (Map42P Group J Parcel 10.00) (pg1). Dan Moore made a motion to approve and Ray Garner seconded the motion. Voting 5-0, the motion passed. b. Request by Peter Kaluk for a conditional use approval on property located at 220 6th St SW (Map57C Group K Parcel 10.00) (pg7). Clint Taylor made a motion to approve and Dan Moore seconded the motion. A vote of 5-0 by the board members passed the motion. Page 1 of 2 There was no Staff Report.
