MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF ETHICS OF THE CITY OF COHOES HELD ON MONDAY, AUGUST 22,, 2022 IN THE COMMON COUNCIL CHMBERS OF CITY HALL Members Present: Charles Valenti, Chairperson David Emanatian, Member Erin Roditis, Alternate Member Member Excused: Deborah Gilchrist Member The meeting was called to order at 6:31 p.m. The Board agreed unanimously to go into executive session to discuss matters which may lead to the demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal, or removal of a particular person at 6:33 p.m. The Board agreed unanimously to exit executive session at 6:49 p.m. Items Considered: 1. The minutes of the July 25, 2022 meeting of the Board were approved by a unanimous vote. 2. Complaint No. 22-2- After considering the testimony of the Complainant of Complainant No. 22-2, as well as considering the testimony pertaining to the interview with the Mayor, the Subject of the Complaintt, the Board determined that there was no violation of the Code of Ethics and that the Subject of the Complaint acted in a responsible and appropriate manner. The Board also noted that most of the documentation which the Complainant submitted was not pertinent to the Complaint.
