SPECIAL SESSION MINUTES College Park City Council Tuesday, October 16, 2018 Council Chambers 10:33 p.m. PRESENT: Mayor Wojahn; Councilmembers Kabir, Kennedy, Brennan, Dennis, Day, Rigg, Kujawa, and Mitchell. ABSENT: None. ALSO PRESENT: Scott Somers, City Manager; Bill Gardiner, Assistant City Manager; Janeen Miller, City Clerk; Suellen Ferguson, City Attorney; Terry Schum, Director of Planning; Alex Tobin, Student Liaison; Serena Saunders, Deputy Student Liaison. During a regularly scheduled Worksession of the College Park City Council, a motion was made by Councilmember Rigg and seconded by Councilmember Day to enter into a Special Session to consider a letter to the Transportation Planning Board that is time sensitive. The motion passed 8-0-0 and Council entered into Special Session at 10:33 p.m. 18-G-136 Approval of a letter to the Transportation Planning Board Mayor Wojahn said he sent an email earlier today about adding this item to approve a letter to the TPB on something that is under consideration at their meeting tomorrow. The Council has previously taken a position on this matter. Councilmember Kabir will attend the hearing. A motion was made by Councilmember Rigg and seconded by Councilmember Mitchell to approve and provide the attached letter to the Transportation Planning Board for the hearing tomorrow. The motion passed 7-0-0 (Councilmember Day was away from the dais). ADJOURN: A motion as made by Councilmember Rigg and seconded by Councilmember Dennis to adjourn the Special Session, and with a vote of 7-0-0 Mayor Wojahn adjourned the Special Session at 10:34 p.m. ______________________________________ Janeen S.
