Call To Order/Roll Call Present: Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales, Councilman Jose Guardiola, Abe Ramirez, Angela Ramirez, Ronna Sanchez, Samantha Hunt, Craig Hurst, Sandra Escobar, Johni Grabinski Absent: Lucy Molina 2. Regular Business Items o Financial Report Board member Gonzales gave latest update on financials. Budget has been updated to reflect all of Music in the Park expenses. Board member Hunt tried calling to inquire about $2.00 charge but since she’s not on account she was unable to get info. Bank statement states it’s for credit card usage. Councilman Guardiola proposed to add more members to account. Motion to approve updated budget by Hunt. Seconded by Ramirez. Motion unanimously approved. Approval of Minutes Minutes 07/14/2020 Attachments: Minutes Motion to approve by Hunt. Motion seconded by Sanchez. Unanimously approved. 3. Committee Reposts and Discussion PUBLIC ART/ART SHOWS/ Adult Art Show Committee met. Art show will be virtual. Artists should work or live in Commerce City. MUSIC IN THE PARK A lot of positive feedback from community members. Virtual concerts were a success. New Business John Lewis Panel Discussion Board member Grabinski proposed that Cultural Council host a John Lewis panel discussion to honor all he did. Since the deadline is fast approaching, members will consider doing this event in honor of his birthday. 5. Member Comments/Announcements Staff reported out that those terms expiring between March and August will be extended for another year due to regular meetings being cancelled.
