Call To Order Vice Chair Martin called the meeting to order at 6:01 p.m. Present 8 - Board Member Ana Munoz, Board Member Diana Munoz, Board Member Augusta Jonhart, Board Member Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales, Board Member Jennifer Martin, Board Member Lucas (luke) Henderson, Board Member Ronna Sanchez, and Council Member Craig Hurst Absent 5 - Board Member Abraham Ramirez, Board Member Angela Ramirez, Board Member Kelly Reyos, Board Member Linda Barr, and Council Member Kristi Douglas 2. Guest Speaker: PRG Mural Project Members from Parks, Recreation and Golf presented on an upcoming mural project in partnership with Adams City High School. The Board discussed how they could provide support. Board member Riggs-Gonzalez arrived at 6:05 p.m. The Board answered the ice breaker question and welcomed the new Cultural Council members. 3. Approval of Minutes Min 22-241 Minutes of August 9, 2022 Board member Sanchez made a motion to approve the minutes of the August 9, 2022 meeting. Board member Riggs-Gonzalez seconded the motion which passed unanimously. 4. Regular Business: Financial and Grant Updates Board member Riggs-Gonzalez presented the monthly financial report. Committee Reports: Music in the Park The Board discussed potential improvements for the 2023 Music in the Park series. Fall Art Exhibition Vice Chair Martin discussed the Fall Art Exhibition. The Board determined the due date for applications would be pushed back to October. The Board also discussed how to improve the Art Exhibition program. Student Art Show Board members Dianna and Ana Munoz provided an update on the Student Art Show. The Board discussed next steps. Commerce City Eats Board member Riggs-Gonzalez provided an update. The Board discussed the future of Commerce City eats. Social Media & Marketing Vice Chair Martin discussed social media and marketing efforts. Board member Jonhart offered to provide assistance. 6. New Business: Annual Retreat Agenda & Logistics Staff Liaison, Jenny Penoncello, shared a draft agenda and discussed logistics with the Board. Fall Fest Councilman Hurst, Board member Diana Munoz and Board member Ana Munoz offered to work the table at the Fall Fest event. Councilman Hurst made a motion to spend up to $100.00 on Fall Fest supplies and decorations. Board member Sanchez seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 7. Other Business None. 8.
