Call To Order/Roll Call A regular meeting of the Commerce City Northern Infrastructure General Improvement District was called to order by Chairman Ford on November 6, 2017, at 9:15 p.m. A motion was made by Board Member Douglas, seconded by Board Member Teter, to excuse Board Members Amador and McEldowney from this meeting. VOTE: 7 aye, 2 excused (Amador, McEldowney) Present: 7 - Crystal Elliott, René Bullock, Rick A. Teter, Sean Ford , Steven J. Approval of Minutes Min NIGID Minutes of the October 16, 2017, Meeting 2017-05 A motion was made by Board Member Carson, seconded by Board Member Diaz, that the minutes be approved. Public Hearings Res NIGID RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2018 BUDGET AND CERTIFICATION 2017-02 OF THE MILL LEVY FOR THE COMMERCE CITY NORTHERN INFRASTRUCTURE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (NIGID) Chairman Ford reopened the public hearing. No one came forward to speak on this item and the public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Vice Chair Bullock, seconded by Board Member Teter, that this resolution be approved. VOTE: Aye: 7- Board Member Elliott, Vice Chair Bullock, Board Member Teter, Chair Ford, Board Member Douglas, Board Member Carson and Board Member Diaz Commerce City Page 1 Northern Infrastructure General Meeting Minutes - Final November 6, 2017 Improvement District Excused: 2- Board Member McEldowney and Board Member Amador Ord NIGID 160 AN ORDINANCE INCLUDING CERTAIN LANDS INTO THE CITY OF COMMERCE CITY NORTHERN INFRASTRUCTURE GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT. Chairman Ford opened the public hearing. Planner Jenny Axmacher presented the case to the board. Ms. Axmacher stated that the applicants, 217 Associates, LLC and Tri B Associates, LLP are seeking inclusion of the property located at E. 104th Avenue & Chambers Road into the district. The property is known as Second Creek Village, is currently zoned P.U.D. and is largely vacant with some existing single-family development. In the future, it is proposed to include residential and commercial uses. The applicants have met all inclusion requirements and staff recommends approval of the request. No one came forward to the address the board on this matter and the public hearing was closed. A motion was made by Board Member Douglas, seconded by Board Member Elliott, that the ordinance be introduced by the board as seated and approved on first reading.
