Call To Order/Roll Call Meeting called to order at 6:06 pm. Attendees: Dana Bond, Jadie Carson, Ray Cordova, Steve Douglas, Bruce Emery, Aaron Franek, Brent Loomis, Justin Maillet, Bret Walker Absent: Andrew LaCrue Guest: Deana Miller, Public Art Program Consultant Staff Members Present: Carolyn Keith, Paul Hebinck, Karen O'Donnell, Candice Turnage 2. Approval of Minutes Prior to approval of the June 21, 2016 minutes, members requested clarification that it was the third Tuesday of the month for meetings and that the future City tour dates had not been set yet. Minutes were corrected. A motion was made by Member Franek to approve the corrected minutes from the June 21 meeting. The motion was seconded by Member Maillet. The minutes were approved unanimously. 3. Unfinished Business 16-47 Discussion of election of PRG Committee Co-Chairs Parks, Recreation and Golf Director, Carolyn Keith, gave overview of Co-Chair responsibilities and asked that if anyone is interested to please contact her. 16-48 Discussion of Fall City tour dates October City tour dates yet to be determined. 4. New Business Pres 16-544 Public Art Overview Attachments: Public Art Program Presentation Guest Deana Miller, Public Art Program Consultant, presented a slideshow of the Public Art Program and distributed a handout to the Committee. Commerce City Page 1 Parks, Recreation, and Golf Meeting Minutes - Final August 16, 2016 Advisory Committee Pres 16-550 Buffalo Run Golf Course Informational Presentation Attachments: Buffalo Run Strategic Master Plan 7-17-14 Paul Hebinck, Golf Course Manager, shared the 2014 Strategic Master Plan, provided an overview of course operations, gave updates about recent improvements and took members on a tour of the building. 16-49 New Recreation Center/Existing Recreation Center Naming Process Council Policy CP#7, Procedure for Naming of Facilities was distributed to members and Carolyn Keith asked members to review it so it could be discussed at the next meeting. 16-50 Ongoing 2K Project Updates For updates on 2K projects go to the City's website: http://www.c3gov.com/index.aspx?nid=1076 16-51 October 18 PRG Advisory Committee Meeting Agenda Items The agenda items for the October 18 PRG Advisory Committee meeting were distributed to members. 16-52 PRG Advisory Committee 2016 Meeting Schedule Citing need to maintain momentum on PRG projects and committee discussion, Member Maillet made a motion for the committee to meet every month through the end of 2016. The motion was seconded by Member Emery. The motion was approved unanimously. Carolyn Keith will email an updated meeting schedule to committee members. 16-53 Future Meeting Topics A list of future PRG Advisory Committee agenda meeting topics was distributed to members. 5. 16-55 Other Discussion Member Carson gave update on general Commerce City information including the Quality Community Foundation wine tasting fundraiser benefitting Parks and Recreation. 6.
