Meet at Buffalo Run Golf Course Pavilion 2. Call to Order/Roll Call Meeting called to order at 6:19 p.m. Attendees: Dana Bond, Jadie Carson, Bruce Emery, Aaron Franek, Brent Loomis, Justin Maillet, Bret Walker, Jacob Wilson Staff Members Present: Carolyn Keith, Karen O'Donnell, Paul Hebinck, Chad Redin (Due to the site tour of the new recreation center, the June meeting minutes will be reviewed at the August meeting). 3. Unfinished Business 17-52 New Recreation Center Tour Site tour of the new recreation center was attended by the Parks, Recreation and Golf Advisory Committee, CIP-CAC, City Council and City leadership. This Administrative Business was continued 16-57 New & Existing Recreation Centers (Facility Naming process) Attachments: ORIGINAL PRESENTATION 10-18-16 YOUR HUB ARTICLE - NAMING CONTEST Recreation Manager Karen O'Donnell, shared the proposed rental room names for the new recreation center and explained the City's executive leadership team has given approval to move forward with the names but wanted to be sure the PRG Advisory Committee was in support. The proposed names were selected from the list of Colorado 14'ers, specifically those with "Peak" in the name. The room signage would include a small photo of each peak. Member Carson requested that elevation be added to the signage. The committee supported the names as presented. Pool Party Rooms: Little Bear Peak and Sunshine Peak Conference Rooms: Gray's Peak and Torrey's Peak Community Rooms: Crestone Peak, Quandary Peak and Red Cloud Peak Let the record show that Member Loomis left after the site tour. Members discussed the Survey Monkey results of the facility name for the existing recreation center. VOTE: Unanimous. The motion passed. Founders Recreation Center (Member Emery to submit summary paragraph) Cannonball Creek Recreation Center (Member Walker to submit summary paragraph) Eagle Point Recreation Center (Member Franek to submit summary paragraph) This Administrative Business was continued 4. PRG Announcements Distributed to all members via email on July 7, 2017, and available on www.c3gov.com. 5.
