Call To Order/Roll Call Meeting called to order at 6:03 p.m. Attendees: Dana Bond, Steve Douglas, Crystal Elliott, Bruce Emery, Aaron Franek, Bret Walker, Jacob WIlson Absent: Brendan Binns, Brent Loomis, Justin Maillet Staff Present: Karen O’Donnell, Mike Brown, Paul Hebinck, Amy Hendricks 2. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Member Emery, seconded by Member Douglas, to approve the October 17, 2017 minutes as submitted. VOTE: Unanimous. The motion passed. There was not a quorum at the November 14, 2017 meeting. No action was taken and there will be no approval of minutes for this meeting. This was approved 3. Unfinished Business 18-07 2018 Meeting Schedule A motion was made by Member Bond, and seconded by Member Wilson, to forego the February meeting and participate in a tour of the Bison Ridge Recreation Center; and, to meet on March 20, 2018 to discuss the remaining 2018 meeting schedule. VOTE: Unanimous. The motion passed. This Administrative Business was continued 17-84 Pledge of Allegiance Discussion A motion was made by Member Walker, seconded by Member Bond, to cite the Pledge of Allegiance at every official meeting. Vote: Aye: 6 - Douglas, Elliott, Walker, Bond, Emery, Franek Nay: 1 - Wilson The motion passed. There was general discussion about the role of committee members. If members have discussion topic ideas, they can send their ideas to the co-chairs for scheduling on a future agenda. This Administrative Business was continued 4. New Business 18-08 Schedule Bison Ridge Recreation Center Tour - February - select date/time A motion was made by Member Bond, seconded by Member Emery, for the Bison Ridge tour on February 20, at 4:00 p.m. with an alternate date of February 27, at 4:00 p.m. Vote: Unanimous. The motion passed. This Administrative Business was approved 18-10 PRG Advisory Committee Membership Update Committee members whose terms are expiring have been sent an email with information about reapplying for another term. Interviews will be held in February. This Administrative Business was continued 5. Committee Member Reports & Information Members shared general information and updates. Recreation Manager, O’Donnell gave an update on the construction progress of the Bison Ridge Recreation Center. The entrance nearest to the pool area at the Eagle Pointe Recreation Center will be closing soon for renovation. The public will need to access the building from the Parkway Drive entrance. The renovation schedule is almost complete, and updates will be given when the schedule is finalized. Member Franek had a follow-up meeting with the representative from the Mile High Disc Golf Club. He shared that the best time to consider a disc golf course is in the planning stage of a new park or open space. However, there is an option for a less expensive “9 in the Round” course for existing parks or open space. 6. PRG Announcements Distributed to all members via email on January 12, and available on www.c3gov.com. 7.
