Call To Order/Roll Call/Pledge of Allegiance Meeting called to order at 6:01 p.m. Attendees: Brendan Binns, Steve Douglas, Crystal Elliott, Bruce Emery, Brent Loomis, Justin Maillet, Bret Walker, Jacob Wilson Absent: Dana Bond Staff Present: Carolyn Keith, Karen O'Donnell, Derrick Tripp, Paul Hebinck, Amy Hendricks, Jodi Hardee 2. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Member Binns, seconded by Member Emery to approve the January 16, 2018 minutes as submitted. VOTE: Unanimous. The motion passed. This was approved 3. Unfinished Business 18-07 2018 Meeting Schedule There was discussion and consensus from the group to continue to meet monthly. The group will address changes in the meeting schedule as needed. This Administrative Business was continued 18-09 2018 Meeting Topic Discussion There was discussion on the items already on the Future Topic List. Staff asked the members if any additional topics should be added to the list. A Survey Monkey will be sent to members for the April meeting asking which three meeting topics the group would like to discuss next. Member Walker asked staff to look at programming opportunities for youth/teens at the new center on Mondays because School District 27J is going to a 4-day week (Tuesday-Friday). This Administrative Business was continued 18-10 PRG Advisory Committee Membership Update Aaron Franek is no longer a committee member. New Business 18-20 Active Older Adult Overview Attachments: 2018 PRG Advisory Presentation_Active Adults 2018 Senior Focus Group Feedback Recreation Supervisor, Derrick Tripp gave a presentation about the history and evolution of senior/active adult activities. An overview of the Good Friends Scholarship Program was also reviewed. Feedback from the Senior Focus Group was discussed. Let the record show Member Douglas left the meeting at 6:40 p.m. This Administrative Business was discussed and closed 18-25 Bison Ridge Grand Opening Event Discussion The Grand Opening is May 25, 2018. Communications Specialist, Jodi Hardee spoke about the proposed plan for the opening and asked for feedback and suggestions. This Administrative Business was continued 5.
