Call To Order/Roll Call/Pledge of Allegiance Meeting called to order at 6:00 p.m. Attendees: Dana Bond, Brendan Binns, Crystal Elliott, Bruce Emery, Mary Hogan Chan, Adam Venanzi, Bret Walker, Paul Welander, Jacob Wilson Absent: Steve Douglas, Brent Loomis, Justin Maillet Staff Present: Carolyn Keith, Karen O'DOnnell, Mike Brown, Paul Hebinck, Maria Jepson, Amy Hendricks Let the record show Councilwoman Elliott joined the meeting at 6:01 p.m. 2. Introduction of New Committee Member Newly appointed member, Paul Welander, was introduced to the group. 3. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Member Bond, seconded by Member Emery to approve the October 16, 2018 minutes as submitted. VOTE: Unanimous. The motion passed. 4. Unfinished Business 18-86 December 18, 2018 Social at Buffalo Run Golf Course Golf Course Manager, Paul Hebinck invited members and their families to the social on December 18, 2018 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. There will be no official meeting in December. discussed and closed 5. New Business Commerce City Page 1 Parks, Recreation, and Golf Meeting Minutes - Final November 27, 2018 Advisory Committee 18-87 Veteran's Memorial Concept Options Attachments: Veteran's Memorial Presentation Parks Planning Manager, Mike Brown gave a presentation on the Veteran's Memorial concept options (see attached presentation). There is an open house at the Eagle Pointe Recreation Center on November 28, 2018 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. to vote on four different concept items. Mr. Brown gave members the option to vote on the options at tonight’s meeting, on-line, or to vote at the open house. continued 18-88 2019 Meeting Schedule/Topics There was consensus from the group to continue to meet monthly. A motion was made by Member Bond, seconded by Member Hogan Chan, to have one meeting per quarter at the Eagle Pointe Recreation Center.
