Call To Order/Roll Call/Pledge of Allegiance - 6:00 PM Meeting was called to order at 6:05 pm by Co-Chair Collins Members Present: DeLilah Collins, Josh Houde, Desiree Martinelli, Shawn McDowell, Chris Niyork, Michael Stegman Absent: Rick Davis, Octavio Flores, Alejandro Garcia, Craig Hurst, Kaitlin Nares, Katie Southard, Bret Walker PRG Staff present: Carolyn Keith, Maria Jepson Guest: Terrance Coon - Commerce City resident, Pamela Young – Commerce City Budget Analyst, Travis Huntington – Commerce City Community Relations Manager, Felix Albl – Commerce City Digital Communications Specialist, Kristen Knoll – Slate Communications, Melita Pawlowski – Slate Communications 2. Introduction of New Members Staff, current committee members and new member Martinelli introduced themselves and shared a bit about what brought them to join or their role in the department. 3. Approval of Minutes The approval of the July 19, 2022 minutes was tabled until the October meeting due to not having a quorum. 4. New Business 22-159 City Website Feedback - Community Relations Division - City Manager's Office Travis Huntington introduced Kristen and Melita from Slate Communications. They led the group in a presentation that reviewed various aspects of the City’s website and components of the PRG pages with interactive feedback being shared via the Mentimeter platform tools. Travis shared his card and encouraged committee members to reach out with any additional feedback they may have – for any of the City’s site components. (THuntington@c3gov.com) 22-160 October/November/December Meeting Agendas - Co-Chairs For the October meeting the Quality Community Foundation will be reviewing the group upcoming collaboration opportunities. Co-chair Collins shared information about QCF Commerce City Page 1 Parks, Recreation, and Golf Meeting Minutes - Final September 20, 2022 Advisory Committee from her own personal experiences and interactions. For November, the evening will include a member and staff social with a small scale meet and greet to potentially include the Directors from the Community Development and Public Works departments at the Bison Ridge Recreation Center. With the December meeting occurring on 12/20/2022 the idea of canceling it was considered. This will be reviewed and voted on at the next meeting. 5. Community Engagement/Interaction Updates & Feedback Co-Chair Collins provided an overview of what this component is and how it was recently implemented to encourage members to engage in PRG elements and share their experiences. 6. Council Member Reports & Information No reports. 7. Committee Member Reports & Information Co-Chair Collins indicated that she will provide an update in October as the next Comprehensive Plan Citizen Advisory Committee is the last week of September. 8. PRG Announcements Distributed to all members via email on September 15, 2022. If you have not been to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge or FREE Annual Refuge Day, mark your calendar for Saturday, October 15th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Visitor Center. 9.
