Call To Order/Roll Call Meeting called to order at 6:06 p.m. Present: Jennifer Prather, Jacob Sawaged, Laurel Eller, Tonia Lopez, Charles Dukes, Billy Gurr, Revisha Martinez, Sheryl Carstens Absent: Catherine Brady 2. Approval of Minutes Minutes 05/26/2020 Attachments: Minutes Approval of meeting minutes motioned by Sawaged, seconded by Prather. Motion was passed. 3. New Business Board president Eller gave updates on board seats and vacancies. City budget for 2021 will be approved in November. The same amount of contributions from City Council to QCF are being proposed. No budget cuts are anticipated. Members discussed the future of fundraiser events by the foundation. Board member Dukes will be leading, with the support of the rest of the members, the initiative to do a virtual Painting for a Purpose event. He will have an update for the board the first week of October. Staff will check-in with city staff on the capabilities of hosting such virtual event. If possible, the board will try to do an event before end of year. Otherwise, event will take place at the beginning of 2021. Colorado Gives application has been submitted. Database and email system will play a big part for this campaign. Board member Gurr is confident the system will be ready for this campaign. President Eller briefly mentioned for board members to consider doing a golf tournament in 2021 as it is a perfect event for a socially distanced world we are living in now. This idea will be revisited.
