Call To Order/Roll Call Meeting was called to Order at 3:05 p.m. Present: Jennie Loveridge, George Maxey, Carole Harvell, Mary K Nieto, Coucilwoman Susan Noble, Carlita Plummer, Tina Ledesma, Carol Boyd, Bruce Reilly, Myrna Ferguson Absent: Tillie Villareal, Councilwoman Jennifer Allen-Thomas 2. Approval of Minutes Minutes 09/10/2020 Attachments: Minutes Motion to approve by Commissioner Maxey. Motion seconded by Commissioner Loveridge. Motion unanimously approved. 3. New Business a. Council agenda topics of interest No discussion. b. City Comprehensive Plan Committee Commerce City’s comprehensive plan sets forth the community's vision, goals and policies to help guide development and investment decisions. The comprehensive plan sets the stage for short- and long-term development regulations, ongoing decision-making, program funding and capital investments. The plan provides a basis for coordination among all of Commerce City's detailed plans, implementation programs, systems, and services. The city is currently looking to fill vacancies on the new Comprehensive Plan Citizen Advisory Committee. The deadline to apply is Friday, Oct. 23, at 5 p.m. c. CaresAct options for Seniors: $250,000 available Councilwoman Noble will be proposing to the City to allocated $250,000 from the Cares Act funding towards Senior services. She is proposing to fund the following categories; Material Aid, Medigap Aid, Technical Aid. THe commission provided Councilwoman Noble with feedback and strategize on ways to get the word out once this grant opportunity is available. 4.
