Call To Order/Roll Call Present 8 - Commissioner Bruce Emery, Commissioner Bruce Reilly, Commissioner Jennie Loveridge, Commissioner Jean Tapia-Smith, Commissioner Carole Harvell, Commissioner Carlita Plummer, Commissioner George Maxey, and Commissioner Tillie Villareal Absent 3 - Alternate Commissioner Thelma Cole, Commissioner Robert Sheetz, and Commissioner Robert Sheetz 2. Approval of Minutes This was approved Minutes 02/14/2019 Attachments: Minutes 3. New Business A representative from Senior Planet presented on their offered classes to seniors. Commissioners expressed interest in partnering and hosting classes at our recreational centers. Staff will reach out to appropriate staff to secure a location. 4. Other Business Annual City Council update will be postponed. Staff will send Reilly availalble dates to reschedule. 5. Announcements The City is looking for an additional judge for the Memorial Day Parade. Commissioner Maxey volunteered to help. Neighborhood Outreach events are coming up. First one will be June 13 at Fronterra Park. Commissioner Maxey will be in attendance but will also be helping out with the Active Adult Center. Other members expressed interest in helping throughout the evening. Reilly, Loveridge and staff will meet to brainstorm ways to better engage community members. 6.
