Call to Order Chair Plummer called the meeting to order at 3:09 p.m. Present 9 - Commissioner Anita Mercado, Commissioner Carol Taylor-Boyd, Commissioner Carole Harvell, Alternate Commissioner Diane Narvaez, Ex Officio Gabriela Adeshewo, Commissioner George Maxey, Commissioner Mary Chan, Council Member Susan Noble, and Commissioner Tillie Villareal Absent 4 - Commissioner Jennie Loveridge, Mayor Pro Tem Jennifer Allen-Thomas, Commissioner Mary Natho, and Commissioner Myrna Ferguson 2. Guest Speaker: Tracy Jones, Housing & Resident Services Manager Tracy Jones, Housing and Resident Services Manager, provided an overview of the housing authority. Board member Maxey arrived at the meeting. 3. Guest Speaker: George Lewis, CDBG Coordinator George Lewis, CDBG Coordinator, presented the 2023 Annual Action plan and gathered input from the Commission on CDBG funding uses. Councilwoman Noble left the meeting. Two members of the public were present and provided public comment. 4. Approval of Minutes Min 23-064 Minutes of Feb. 9, 2023 Meeting Board member Chan made a motion to approve the minutes of the Feb. 9, 2023 meeting. Board member Mercado seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 5. Monthly Budget Update An update will be provided at the April meeting. Senior Resource Fair The Subcommittee provided an update on planning and logistics. B. Senior Outreach Events The Commission discussed the March Listening Tour event. 8. Old Business None. 9.
