Call to Order Vice Chair Velasco-Zubia called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. Present 9 - Commissioner Aliyah Acevedo, Commissioner Desiree Kennison, Commissioner Isabela Velasco-Zubia, Commissioner Laura Hellewell, Commissioner Megan Pham, Commissioner Michael Kelley, Commissioner Morgan Smith, Commissioner Paia Martinez, and Commissioner René Bullock Absent 8 - Commissioner Christina Wickersheim, Commissioner Cobe Koonce, Commissioner Keegan Jones, Commissioner Kenia Prieto, Council Member Kristi Douglas, Commissioner Olivia Cordero, Commissioner Travis Watkins, and Council Member Craig Kim 2. Guest Speaker: Carolyn Keith, Director of PRG Ms. Keith presented on the City's Metro Football Stadium District funding and asked for feedback from the Youth Commission. The Commission discussed. Commissioners Hellewell and Bullock arrived. 3. Guest Speaker: Madison Wisler, Super Bowl Emergency Management Ms. Wisler presented on her career in Emergency Management and working at the Super Bowl. 4. Approval of Minutes Min 23-059 Minutes of Feb. 16, 2023 Meeting Commissioner Hellewell made a motion to approve the minutes of the Feb. 16, 2023 meeting. Commissioner Acevedo seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. Commissioner Martinez and Chair Smith left the meeting. 5. New Business: Volunteer Check-in / Check-out Staff Liaison, Ms. Yang, provided an updated on checking-in and checking-out at volunteer shifts. 7. Old Business: Blood Drive Subcommittee Updates The Commission discussed Blood Drive logistics. 8. Other Business None. 9.
