Call To Order/Roll Call Chair Huseman called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. A motion was made by Vice Chair Frank, seconded by Commissioner Grimes, to excuse members not present. VOTE 9 - Aye, 1- Abstain (Noble), 2 - Excused ( Fairfield, Tedesco) Present: 11 - Commissioner Benjamin Huseman, Vice Chair Nicole Frank, Oscar Madera, Jennifer Allen-Thomas, Susan Noble, Jose Guardiola, Craig Hurst, Meghan Grimes, Robyn Smith, Charles "Chaz" Tedesco and Ramona Lewis Excused: 1 - Alex Fairfield 2. Approval of Minutes Min URA 20-05 Minutes of May 28, 2020 A motion was made by Vice Chair Frank, seconded by Commissioner Grimes, that the minutes be approved. Presentations Pres 20-242 Mile High Greyhound Park Update Caitlin Quander, legal counsel for the Urban Renewal Authority, provided an updated on the Mile High Greyhound Park project. Commerce City Page 1 Urban Renewal Authority Meeting Minutes - Final August 3, 2020 Pres 20-266 Authorization for Site Planning Work for Retained Parcel Rick Wells, owner's representative for the Urban Renewal Authority, provided information on the process for obtaining a vendor for site planning for the Mile High Greyhound Park properties. Commissioner Tedesco entered the meeting at 6:15 p.m. A motion was made by Commissioner Madera, seconded by Commission Allen-Thomas, to authorize the Executive Director to negotiate and execute a contract with a vendor to perform preliminary site planning for CCURA-retained parcels.
