Call To Order/Roll Call - A special meeting of the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority was called to order by Chair Huseman on April 10, 2023, at 7:00 PM. A motion was made by Commissioner Ford, seconded by Commissioner Kim, to excuse those members not present. VOTE: - 11 Aye, - 1 Excused (Tedesco) Present: 11 - Chair Benjamin Huseman, Vice Chair Jennifer Allen-Thomas, Oscar Madera, Renee Millard-Chacon, Susan Noble, Craig Hurst, Craig Kim, Sean Ford , Kristi Douglas, Craig Machuga and Renee Lovato Excused: 1 - Charles "Chaz" Tedesco Times given are estimates only 2. Presentations & Proclamations Pres 23-205 Mile High Greyhound Park, Public Building Bill Aiken, Director of Urban Renewal provided an update on the Public Building at Mile High Greyhound Park. 3. Executive Session Commerce City Page 1 Urban Renewal Authority Meeting Minutes - Final April 10, 2023 23-044 An executive session of the Board of the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a) for the purpose of discussing the potential lease of a future multicultural building to be owned by the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority within the Mile High Greyhound Park, and also pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) for the purpose of developing a strategy to negotiate the potential lease of such a building and instructing negotiators with regard to the same. A motion was made by Commissioner Hurst, seconded by Commissioner Kim, to enter into an executive session of the Board of the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a) for the purpose of discussing the potential lease of a future multicultural building to be owned by the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority within the Mile High Greyhound Park, and also pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) for the purpose of developing a strategy to negotiate the potential lease of such a building and instructing negotiators with regard to the same. Aye: 11 - Chair Huseman, Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, Commissioner Madera, Commissioner Millard-Chacon, Commissioner Noble, Commissioner Hurst, Commissioner Kim, Commissioner Ford, Commissioner Douglas, Commissioner Machuga and Commissioner Lovato Excused: 1- Commissioner Tedesco 4.
