1. Call To Order/Roll Call -
A special meeting of the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority was called to order
by Chair Huseman on April 10, 2023, at 7:00 PM.
A motion was made by Commissioner Ford, seconded by Commissioner Kim, to
excuse those members not present. VOTE: - 11 Aye, - 1 Excused (Tedesco)
Present: 11 - Chair Benjamin Huseman, Vice Chair Jennifer Allen-Thomas, Oscar
Madera, Renee Millard-Chacon, Susan Noble, Craig Hurst, Craig Kim, Sean
Ford , Kristi Douglas, Craig Machuga and Renee Lovato
Excused: 1 - Charles "Chaz" Tedesco

Bill Aiken, Director of Urban Renewal provided an update on the Public Building at Mile
High Greyhound Park.

23-044 An executive session of the Board of the Commerce City Urban Renewal
Authority pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a) for the purpose of
discussing the potential lease of a future multicultural building to be
owned by the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority within the Mile
High Greyhound Park, and also pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) for
the purpose of developing a strategy to negotiate the potential lease of
such a building and instructing negotiators with regard to the same.
A motion was made by Commissioner Hurst, seconded by Commissioner Kim,
to enter into an executive session of the Board of the Commerce City Urban
Renewal Authority pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a) for the purpose of
discussing the potential lease of a future multicultural building to be owned by
the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority within the Mile High Greyhound
Park, and also pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) for the purpose of developing
a strategy to negotiate the potential lease of such a building and instructing
negotiators with regard to the same.
Aye: 11 - Chair Huseman, Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, Commissioner Madera,
Commissioner Millard-Chacon, Commissioner Noble, Commissioner Hurst,
Commissioner Kim, Commissioner Ford, Commissioner Douglas,

The meeting adjourned at 8:42 PM.
