A motion was made by Commissioner Ford, seconded by Commissioner Hurst, to excuse those members not present. Resolutions Commerce City Page 1 Urban Renewal Authority Meeting Minutes - Final May 8, 2023 Res URA RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE 2023-07 POST-CLOSING AGREEMENT, COVENANT, AND RIGHT OF REPURCHASE WITH COMMERCE CITY EXTENDED STAY HOTEL, LLC FOR A +/- 2.14 ACRE LOT AT MILE HIGH GREYHOUND PARK A motion was made by Commissioner Hurst, seconded by Commissioner Ford, that the URA Resolution be approved. VOTE: Aye: 10 - Chair Huseman, Commissioner Madera, Commissioner Millard-Chacon, Commissioner Noble, Commissioner Hurst, Commissioner Kim, Commissioner Ford, Commissioner Douglas, Commissioner Tedesco and Commissioner Lovato Excused: 2- Vice Chair Allen-Thomas and Commissioner Machuga 4. Presentations Pres 23-316 Mile High Greyhound Park Tract A & B Update Bill Aiken, Urban Renewal Director, introduced the presentation. A motion was made by Commissioner Hurst, seconded by Commissioner Ford, to proceed with the plan as presented and authorize staff to negotiate as necessary. VOTE: 8 - Aye, 1 - Nay (Douglas), 3 - (Allen-Thomas, Madera, Machuga) 5. Executive Session 13. 23-098 An executive session of the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a) to address the sale of real property, specifically Tract A and Tract B within the Mile High Greyhound Park, and also pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) for the purpose of instructing negotiators with regard to the same.
