1. Call To Order/Roll Call
A special meeting of the Urban Renewal Authority was called to order by Chair
Huseman on Juny 12, 2023, at 7:05 PM.
A motion was made by Commissioner Hurst, seconded by Commissioner Ford, to
excuse those members not present. VOTE: 10 - Aye, 2 - Excused (Madera, Tedesco)
Present: 10 - Chair Benjamin Huseman, Vice Chair Jennifer Allen-Thomas, Renee
Millard-Chacon, Susan Noble, Craig Hurst, Craig Kim, Sean Ford , Kristi
Douglas, Craig Machuga and Renee Lovato
Excused: 2 - Oscar Madera and Charles "Chaz" Tedesco

2. Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Commissioner Kim, seconded by Commissioner Ford,
that the minutes be approved. VOTE:

23-126 An executive session of the Commerce City Urban Renewal Authority
pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a) to address the sale of real property,
specifically Tract A and Tract B within the Mile High Greyhound Park, and
also pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) for the purpose of instructing
negotiators with regard to the same.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, seconded by Commissioner Kim, to
authorize the Executive Director to extend the Inspection Period to August 15, 2023
and prepare and submit applications for a plat and amended Planned Unit
Development zoning to prepare Tracts A and B at Mile High Greyhound Park for sale
and redevelopment. VOTE: 9 - Aye, 1 - Nay (Huseman), 2 - Excused (Madera,
Tedesco)
A motion was made by Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, seconded by Commissioner
Hurst, to enter into an executive session of the Commerce City Urban Renewal
Authority pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a) to address the sale of real property,
specifically Tract A and Tract B within the Mile High Greyhound Park, and also
pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e) for the purpose of instructing negotiators with
regard to the same. VOTE:

the same.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Allen-Thomas, seconded by Commissioner
Hurst, to enter into executive session of the Commerce City Urban Renewal
Authority pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(a) to address the lease of real
property, specifically pertaining to the development of the Institutional Anchor
