Call to Order Chair Acevedo called the meeting to order at 6:36 p.m. Present 9 - Commissioner Desiree Kennison, Commissioner Adam Day, Commissioner Eduardo Quintana, Commissioner Aliyah Acevedo, Commissioner Megan Pham, Commissioner Olivia Cordero, Commissioner Travis Watkins, Council Member Craig Kim, and Commissioner Elizabeth Martinez-Atayde Absent 7 - Commissioner Christina Wickersheim, Commissioner Cobe Koonce, Council Member Kristi Douglas, Commissioner Paia Martinez, Commissioner Manuel Guardiola-Rodriguez, Commissioner Alejandra Guardiola, and Commissioner Serrianna Safieh 2. Guest Speakers: Medical Physics - CU Anschutz Medical Campus The guest speakers from CU Anschutz Medical Campus presented on careers in the field of Radiation Oncology. 3. Public Comment None. 4. Approval of Minutes Min 23-242 Minutes of Sept. 21, 2023 Commissioner Cordero made a motion to approve the minutes of the Sept. 21, 2023 meeting. Commissioner Kennison seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 5. 2024 Student Conference Planning: A. Select Conference Chairs The Commission determined Chair Acevedo would serve as Chair of the 2024 Youth Conference, Commissioner Kennison would serve as Vice Chair of the 2024 Conference and Commissioner Cordero would serve as a Conference Lead. Teddy Bear Drive The Commission discussed the upcoming Teddy Bear Drive. B. ACHS Trunk or Treat The Commission discussed participating in the ACHS Trunk or Treat event. 7. Old Business None. 8. Other Business Commissioner Kennison made a motion to cancel the Nov. 2 meeting due to the Brighton Image Summit. Vice Chair Pham seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 9.
