APPOINTMENTS, PROCLAMATIONS, PRESENTATIONS OR AWARDS A. Consider appointment of the City Attorney for a two (2) year term. SPONSOR – JAMES MILLS B. Consider on second and final reading Ordinance #023-05-09, amending the Zoning Code to allow medical clinics in the CR (Regional Commercial) Zoning District as a use permitted by right. Hold a public hearing and consider on second and final reading Ordinance #O23-06-14, adopting the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024 for Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Hold a public hearing and consider on second and final reading Ordinance #O23-06-11, providing a tax levy for the City of Cookeville, Tennessee, for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024; providing means for the collection of revenues; and establishing the due dates and delinquency dates for property taxes. Hold a public hearing and consider on second and final reading Ordinance #O23-06-12, authorizing appropriations for financial aid to public service, nonprofit, and charitable organizations for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024. Hold a public hearing and consider on second and final reading Ordinance #O23-06-13, adopting the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023 and ending June 30, 2024 for the City of Cookeville, Tennessee. NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS AND ACTION ITEMS A. Hold a public hearing and consider Resolution #R23-06-08, a resolution to adopt a Plan of Services and annex certain territory upon written consent of the owners and to incorporate the same within the boundaries of the City of Cookeville, Tennessee for the TT of HCP Hawkins Crawford Road annexation area, located off Tennessee Avenue on Hawkins Crawford Road, further identified as Tax Map 064, Parcel 018.01. SPONSOR – JON WARD B. Hold a public hearing and consider on first reading Ordinance #O23- 05-10 to establish zoning in the TT of HCP, Hawkins Crawford Road Area as CG (General Commercial). SPONSOR – JON WARD C. Consider Resolution #R23-06-09, a resolution authorizing the submittal of multimodal access grant application to the Tennessee Department of Transportation for the purpose of installing sidewalks along State Route 24 (East Spring Street), committing the City to the local funding match, and acknowledging responsibility for future maintenance. SPONSOR – JON WARD D. Consider on first reading Ordinance #O23-06-17, amending the Municipal Code of the City of Cookeville, Tennessee, Title 1, Chapter 1, City Council. SPONSOR – JAMES MILLS E. Consider approval to purchase one (1) Pierce 100’ Heavy Duty Aerial Tower Truck, utilizing the HGAC Buy Purchasing Cooperative – Fire Department. SPONSOR – BENTON YOUNG F. Consider awarding bid for 2023 S. Jefferson Ave. Waterline Replacement, I-40 to Reagan Street – Water Quality Control Department. SPONSOR – BARRY TURNER G.
